General Hospital spoilers tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) believes she has found her knight in shining armor in Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst).
Although reluctant to take her case at first, Ric eventually agreed to defend Ava against criminal charges stemming from day that Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) tumbled out of Ava’s hotel room after the two women engaged in an intense confrontation.
Because Kristina was eight months pregnant at the time of her fall, Ava was charged with both murder and attempted murder since the baby didn’t survive.
General Hospital Spoilers – Kristina Davis-Corinthos was a surrogate for Ric Lansing’s daughter
Kristina was acting as a surrogate for Molly Lansing-Davis General Hospital Spoilers: Ric Is Stealing Ava’s Fortune!(Kristen Vaganos), her half-sister and Ric’s daughter. Ric agreed to take Ava’s case because he didn’t want Molly to want revenge against Ava for the rest of her life.
So, his goal was to make Molly see that Kristina’s fall was just a terrible accident. Ric recently won the case and Ava was grateful. It’s clear that Ava is interested in Ric on a personal level as well.
GH Spoilers – Ava Jerome’s Celebration Ends In Disaster
Ric and Ava decided to have dinner to celebrate Ric’s win and Ava’s freedom. Ava tried to pay for the dinner, but her credit card was declined.
Interestingly, Ric received a notification on his phone that very moment that Ava’s check to him for his legal services had been declined for insufficient funds.
It seems that someone has found a way to steal Ava’s sizable fortune right out from under her. Of course, both Ava and Ric will likely point the finger at Sonny since Sonny and Ava are currently in a custody battle for their daughter.
General Hospital Spoilers – Ric Lansing is a master manipulator!
Stealing Ava’s money doesn’t really seem like Sonny’s style. But it’s worth nothing that Ric once conspired with Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) mother, Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) to steal Nina’s fortune.
The plan failed but stealing Ava’s money seems exactly like something Ric would do. Nina already warned Ava not to trust Ric outside of the courtroom and perhaps she should have listened because Ric might be out to take Ava’s entire fortune!
