What was interesting is that right before Sonny killed John, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) got a gun. So, I could see Sonny covering his tracks only for Kristina to get accused.

In a preview clip, Chase tells Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) that he’s on a big case. So, John’s murder might be this case.
Josslyn Jacks vs Carly Spencer
General Hospital spoilers for the week of September 2 reveal that Josslyn will lash out at Carly. If Carly helps Sonny cover up a murder, Josslyn would have a problem with that. It wasn’t that long ago that Carly was facing prison time for RICO violations.
Carly is a free woman now, but Josslyn doesn’t want her mother to risk her freedom again. Plus, there is the messy history between Sonny and Josslyn.
Josslyn could also have an issue if Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) gets involved in the investigation. With Dex and Josslyn a couple, this could get very complicated.
