General Hospital spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has been back in Port Charles for several months now and he’s mostly been focused on his FBI drama with John Cates (Adam Harrington).
What little time he had left after that, he tried to focus on Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) friendship as well as his relationship with his sons, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Jake Webber (Hudson West). But he hasn’t had much time for romance.
General Hospital Spoilers – Jason Morgan has a past with Sam Morgan and Carly Spencer
While Jason and Carly have decided that it’s better if they remain friends, he’s had a more contentious relationship with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). Kelly and Jason broke up years ago because Sam didn’t want their son Danny to constantly live a life of danger given Jason’s connection to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard).
While Jason was presumed dead, Sam found love with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna). Given all of that, as well as reports of Sam’s upcoming death, means that there’s practically no chance of them reuniting. But Jason has another former flame who might be the best choice for his future.
GH Spoilers – Elizabeth Webber just ended a relationship with Dr. Hamilton Finn
Jason’s other former love interest, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), recently ended things with Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), who is currently in rehab and seems unlikely to return to Port Charles anyway.
When Jason first returned home, Elizabeth was much more understanding than Sam regarding his time away. And when Elizabeth needed backup with Finn, Jason arrived like a knight in shining armor. Elizabeth has also encouraged their son Jake to mend fences with Jason.
General Hospital Spoilers – The Time Has Never Been Right For Jason And Elizabeth
Even though they share a son, the timing has never been right for Jason and Elizabeth. At the moment, both Jason and Elizabeth are single and still have a close connection.
It just seems like the time is finally right for Jason and Elizabeth to choose each other and make a life together. But with the return of both Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), Jason may soon have competition so if he wants Elizabeth, he should make his move sooner rather than later.

I really don’t want Jason with Elizabeth. Even though she is a sweet person, her character has become matronly. I would prefer him with Sam. When Lulu wakes up, Dante will probably end up back with her. Since GH seems like it’s not replacing Sam, I would like a new character for Jason. I loved Jason with Britt.
100% agree with everything you said. Liz had matured into a respected, solid pillar of general hospital. Her life style is not longer conducive to being involved with Jason as a romantic interest. And I too loved Jason and Britt as a couple and was so sorry that it was a dead end storyline.
I find it ironic that Kelly was going to leave GH and the powers that be ask what it would take to keep her. She said a story with Steve. They make It happened, we all loved it, then they fired Steve! That’s why Kelly finally ask to be killed off…. Now, damned if SB isn’t back and Britt’s dead! Sometimes GH sucks! 😂
In my opinion Liz/Jason didn’t work years ago and it will not work if tried again. Plus, Liz would have the same problems as Sam regarding his chosen profession. The best person I feel Liz has been paired with was Franco and writers killed that and also killed the character.
Please not Elizabeth. She a horrible choice for Jason.
