A woman’s desperate plea for “help” resonates like a haunting memory as Ava Jerome (Maura West) faces questioning at the PCPD. She seems increasingly uneasy while Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) switches on a recorder, prompting her to begin her account from the very start.
He encourages her to disclose everything she can remember, but her attorney, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner), is still missing in action.
This cry for help could signify Ava’s frustration over Scotty’s delay, or it might be the nagging voice of her conscience. It could be urging her to have sought help for Kristina immediately following the accident which caused her to plunge through glass and land in the Metro Court pool!
GH Spoilers: Frightening Situations
Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) anxiously inquires about Kristina and the baby’s well-being at the hospital. Her voice wavers with uncertainty as she seeks reassurance from TJ, who is visibly shaken and fearful due to his medical knowledge of Kristina’s condition.
Kristina was rushed into emergency surgery upon arrival at GH, with complications like internal bleeding and placental separation posing a serious threat to both mother and child.
The situation is undeniably frightening, with the outcome still uncertain. The only saving grace might be that the baby isn’t more premature, Kristina was eight and a half months along.
General Hospital Spoilers: Devastating Worry
Kristina’s family members are gathered in the waiting room outside the surgery suite at the hospital, with TJ and Molly by their side, all experiencing devastating worry. Sonny has just arrived and stands by a distraught Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) for support, who is visibly shaken.
Alexis, known for her strength, is now in tears as she reveals to TJ and Molly that Kristina was last seen in Ava’s suite, puzzled why she would have gone there.
Sonny’s expression turns suspicious as Molly suddenly has a realization. She stands up and confidently explains to their mother the reason why Kristina might have sought out Ava for a conversation!
GH Spoilers: Explanations And Doubts
Scott has finally made his way to the PCPD and is now standing outside the interrogation room with Ava; he raises his hand and gestures, admitting, “It was an accident.” Ava will tell Chase the same thing, that it was indeed all just a terrible accident.
However, she realizes that staging the scene only made matters worse for herself, because no one believes her. Despite Ava’s initial fears of not being believed if she told the truth, now even Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) doubts her.
The scene transitions, showing Ava behind bars as Trina stares her down and questions, “Was it really an accident?”
General Hospital Spoilers: Premeditated Revenge
Dr. Andy Park (Jonathan Ohye) steps out of the surgery room into the waiting area, where Molly, TJ, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) rise to their feet.
Alexis and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) are also present, while Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) stands alongside Sonny, Jason having hurried to the hospital.
The expression on Dr. Park’s face suggests that the surgery may not have gone as hoped, a concern mirrored in the anxious faces of those waiting.
Sonny is already premeditating revenge as he exclaims about Ava, “I want her to pay!” The family will hold onto hope and pray for a miracle.
