General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Becomes The Prime Suspect When Ava Is Poisoned

General Hospital spoilers tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) is making new enemies every single day. But the person who has been the most obvious with their hatred toward Ava remains Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard).

Ava and Sonny had been getting along and were even living under the same roof at Sonny’s penthouse until Sonny discovered that Ava was responsible to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) losing her law license.

But Sonny did more than just kick Ava out of his home. He decided to file for sole custody of their daughter, Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).

Ava was furious and things have escalated from there. Ava’s lawyer, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) has warned Ava that if she wants to lose custody, Sonny would pretty much have to have a very public mental breakdown.

That suggestion gave Ava an idea. Ava already knows that someone has ordered Sonny’s pharmacist Clement (Phillip Cass) to alter Sonny’s bi-polar medication.

Clement was previously instructed to decrease Sonny’s dosage so that he is only receiving a quarter of his prescribed dosage. But now, Ava has blackmailed Clement into swapping out the lower dosage for a total placebo.

Without his medication, Sonny will soon be prone to paranoia, impulsive behavior and possible even violence. But this could all backfire in the most deadly of ways for Ava.

If Sonny is that unhinged, she may very well find her life in danger. But it seems more likely that someone else, perhaps even Clement will be the one to kill Ava, perhaps even with poison in her ice bucket.

That may be the reason the bucket was shown so prominently recently. But at least initially, Sonny will likely be the prime suspect should something happen to Ava?
