General Hospital Spoilers: Nina And Drew’s Shocking Wedding Rocks Port Charles!
General Hospital spoilers tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was devastated when Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) asked her for a divorce.
Although Nina anonymously called the SEC to have Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Matheson) arrested for insider trading, she really thought Sonny would forgive her.
When that didn’t happen, Nina eventually signed the divorce papers and prepared to start a new life.

Drew also had a terrible time forgiving Nina. In fact, his anger toward her bordered on unhinged. But during a particularly emotional argument, Nina and Drew’s anger turned to passion and they had sex on Drew’s office floor.
After that. Drew and Nina decided to indulge in a mutually beneficial agreement that included sex. But beyond that, Drew agreed to help Nina reconcile with her estranged daughter, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
So when Drew heard that Nina was going to meet with local Congressman Larry McConkey (Sam McMurray), an old family friend of Nina’s, he insisted on tagging along.

Drew wanted the Congressman to help with funding for Drew’s plan to improve Port Charles’ waterfront. After some convincing, McConkey agreed.
He also divulged that he is dying and that this term would be his last. Drew and Nina returned to Port Charles, and Drew began work on the new project.
He was quite surprised when McConkey showed up at his office with a surprising proposal. He suggested that Drew run for Congressman to take his vacant seat.

Drew will likely seriously consider McConkey’s suggestion and assistance. One thing the Congressman thought would be smart is if Drew changed his last name from Cain to Quartermaine.
But even with the Quartermaine name behind him, that may not guarantee a win come election time. What may help is if Drew were married to someone with a strong family background.
Nina comes from a wealthy and well-respected family and her father was close friends with the Congressman. Could Drew and Nina take their arrangement one step further and get married. Could they seriously become a real couple considering how they started?
