General Hospital Spoilers: Maxie Wants To Marry Peter Right Away, Will Dante’s Mission Interfere With Hers?

General Hospital spoilers tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) wants to marry Peter August (Wes Ramsey) right away. Will Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) mission interfere with hers?

Maxie Jones Tells Peter August She Thinks They Should Do It As Soon As Possible

General Hospital viewers know that Maxie has been deeply affected by the death of “Hot Dustin” Phillips (Mark Lawson) and the indeterminate coma of her best friend Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan). Prior to the explosion of the Floating Rib, Maxie and Lulu had a heart-to-heart talk about Dustin’s marriage proposal and Lulu’s hesitancy. Lulu was torn between Dustin and Dante, and Maxie had told her to tell Dante she still loved him. Lulu couldn’t have married Dustin in good conscience as long as she still had feelings for Dante.

Lulu later talked to her mother, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) also; but she never got a chance to tell Dustin. Dustin died as a result of the explosion, and Dante was with him in his last minutes of life – he told Dante that Lulu would need him and gave him the engagement ring he had bought. Dante had broken the bad news to Laura and Lulu, and Lulu had gone in the chapel to pray. Lulu had not attended to her headache, and thought she was okay, but in the chapel she collapsed – after mouthing the words “I love you” to Dante. Dante hasn’t indicated whether he picked up on her silent message or not. Knowing tomorrow is not granted to anyone, Maxie is likely talking about moving her and Peter’s marriage plans up and getting married soon as possible!

Dante Tells Someone He Won’t Fail To Complete The Mission

At the Metro Court, Dante meets someone, likely Dr. Kirk (Christopher Cousins). He tells Kirk that he won’t fail to complete the mission. As General Hospital viewers will recall, Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is Kirk’s boss and he is enamored with her. Obrecht used Kirk’s feelings for her to help her get out of The Hague and into the WSB facility where Dante had been for the past couple of years. Kirk, under pressure from Liesl, got Dante released early, but he has a mission to complete. Liesl wants Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Peter August disposed of, and Dante has been programmed with a kill order!

His kill order has been modified to kill Anna and Peter instead of whoever he was supposed to kill in Turkey. That kill order had stayed with him when he returned to Port Charles the first time, and was the reason he didn’t stay – he kept having nightmares of killing Lulu. Once he reacted to someone in a restaurant taking a knife out for a table and almost strangled them! He has already gotten himself hired to do security in Peter’s office, although Peter almost figured out Dante was a plant.

Dante managed to get himself out of that tight situation when he was caught on Peter’s laptop, telling him he wanted to make sure things were secure. The question is, even if Peter and Maxie plan to get married right away, will Dante take down Peter first and interfere with Maxie’s mission to marry Peter, or take down Anna first and interfere with her mission to marry Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton)?
