ABC General Hospital star William DeVry (Julian Jerome) has a very important message for his fans in a new video that he posted on his Instagram account. Even though he is known as a reformed bad boy in Port Charles, William DeVry in real life really, truly cares about the mental and physical health of his fans. Here’s what he has to say.
General Hospital News: William DeVry Opens Up About Ovarian Cancer Awareness
William started off his video by saying, “I know that things are really difficult for a lot of people right now. Some people are without a job, some people are alone, and you can’t go out and meet new people right now or see your friends, and it’s weighing heavily on our psyche. But I think it’s really important for everyone to take care of themselves and to take some time during the day for yourself.”
He added, “Also, it’s important to see your doctor for your physical. And ladies, it’s so important that you talk to your doctor about ovarian cancer. That’s because, for screening, you would have to talk to them specifically about it. So please visit sandyovarian.org. We have a bunch of virtual events coming up and a lot of information.”

Of course, it didn’t take very long for his fans and followers to comment on his video message. Quite a few of them said, “Thank you for speaking out in support of this cause. Just lost my best friend after her courageous 5 year battle with ovarian cancer,” along with, “I NEVER thought of talking to my doctor about this. Thanks to you, I’m taking your advice and asking.”

Another fan wrote, “You are such an amazing person. I’m so grateful to have met you and had a moment to share things about my sister with you. Thank you for speaking to all of us about the cause that is so near to your heart. We’ve all lost someone to this dreaded disease and you being a champion to raise funds to find a cure is so beautiful.”
