General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Alexis Starts A Recovery Program At Pentonville

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is still in the early days of her recovery from alcoholism. Alexis knew that in order to make amends, she would have to plead guilty to a crime she committed while drunk. By pleading guilty, Alexis was sentenced to three years in Pentonville, although she could get out in two and a half years with good behavior. But that seems really far off, and Alexis will still need the support of a recovery system in prison which is likely lacking.

General Hospital Spoilers – Alexis Davis may put together an alcoholic anonymous chapter in Pentonville if there isn’t one.

It seems as if there would be Alcohol Anonymous meetings available to inmates but perhaps for whatever reason, the prison doesn’t allow meetings of this nature. If this is the case, Alexis will likely find her voice again by organizing meetings and negotiating with prison officials to make it happen. But Alexis is new there and there might be quite a lot of pushback despite her mostly sterling character, as her drunken actions might be all people remember. But Alexis won’t give up, but she may need some help and there are a couple inmates currently in the prison that might be ready and willing to help Alexis create the support system that she herself needs.

General Hospital Spoilers – Could Shawn Butler or Steven Webber be the support Alexis Davis needs?

As viewers know, Shawn Butler (Shawn Blakemore) will soon be making his return to General Hospital, and he is currently an inmate in the prison. Shawn and Alexis share a romantic past, but are still friends and Shawn might have enough experience inside Pentonville to help Alexis win her cause, and her sobriety. In addition, Steven Webber is another former Port Charles resident behind bars. Although he wasn’t serving his sentence in Port Charles, perhaps he is being transferred to Pentonville to be close to his sister, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) now that her husband has died, especially if he is due for release soon. Being a doctor, he might be a valuable ally for Alexis in convincing prison officials that only good can come from helping inmates recover from addiction and having the support in place.

Will Alexis be able to work her recovery in Pentonville or will she have to take steps to start a support group or a chapter of Alcoholics Anonymous inside the prison? Will she be able to do it by herself of will someone like Shawn or Steven need to step up to help Alexis achieve her goals. If she is successful this might be how Alexis gets out sooner than planned.
